Our SPC software, SPC for Excel, easily develops a process capability analysis. Process capability answers the question: Is the process capable of meeting specifications? One measure of process capability is the Cpk index. Another is Ppk. Our SPC software calculates both of these. The process capability analysis chart contains the histogram, a normal curve, the specifications, the nominal, descriptive statistics, and the option for displaying the avearge and 3 sigma limits. The histogram can also be shaded. The process capability features are described below.
